We found a female, white Siberian Husky - or possibly a mix - on Sept. 8, walking along Loop 494 across from New Caney High School. We put up flyers, called all the New Caney vets, and posted to Petfinder and Dog Detective and kept driving back out there to look for 'lost pet' signs, but we never found her owners. Anway, turns out she was pregnant! We now have 8 (eight) puppies needing homes. They are a mix of blacks, chocolates and one splash coat. (Several people have already expressed interest in the splash coat, but if you're interested in her, please leave us your information anyway in case she isn't picked up) Please visit our post at craigslist ( houston.craigslist.org/pet/501019874.html) for pictures and contact us if you'd like to adopt one or more. They are six weeks old and should be ready for new homes the week before Christmas. They are NOT presents though! It is important that they all go to committed loving homes who understand what it means to take on a puppy. We also would like to request that all adopters agree to return the dog or bring to a no-kill shelter like VAP or Twyla's as opposed to taking to the SPCA or a humane society if for any reason it doesn't work out.
